Head Coach of Everbright Ping Pong Club accepting New students

 

     彭颖，四川重庆人，中国专业乒乓球教练乒乓球运动健将。现为美国乒乓协会认证的执照乒乓球教练。她曾在中国大学生乒乓球队所属少年队，华东理工大学乒乓球队执教。后又在新加坡国家女子乒乓球队执教，担任新加坡国手李佳薇的助理教练。同时，她又在新加坡多所中小学执教。她的学生曾获得世界中学生锦标赛第三名。她所执教的新加坡学校曾多次获得新加坡全国青少年团体和单打冠军。

彭颖七岁开始进入少体校学习。由于成绩出众（全国及四川省少年女子冠军），入选四川省乒乓球队。后又入选华东理工大学乒乓球队。她曾获得四川省运动会女双冠军。她在1991和1992年全国大学生乒乓球锦标赛中，获得两次女单亚军。在1992年的世界大学生锦标赛中，她与队友一起获得了团体铜牌。在新加坡执教期间，她与队友一起获得新加坡全国锦标赛女团季军。在中国时获得乒乓球运动健将的称号。

彭颖现在美国新泽西华硕教育学院乒乓球俱乐部任总教练。

       Peng Ying, from Sichuan province of China, is a USA certified professional table tennis coach. When she was in China, she coached China University Youth Table Tennis Team and East China University of Science and Technology Team.  During that period, her student won the 3rd place in men’s single in the World Middle School Table Tennis Championship. Later she was invited to coach Singapore National Women’s Table Tennis Team. She was the assistant coach of Jiawei Li, a world-class table tennis athlete. At the same time, she was a head coach in several secondary and primary schools in Singapore. The schools she coached won many team and single champions in Singapore national tournaments.

 

      Peng Ying started playing table tennis at the age of 7. Due to her excellent achievements (multiple times champion in the provincial and national youth tournaments), she was recruited by the Sichuan Provincial Professional Table Tennis Team. She won champion title in women’s double in Sichuan Province Game. Years later, she joined the table tennis team of East China University of Science and Technology. She won two times runner-up in the single event in 1991 and 1992 National University Championship, and a bronze medal in the World University Table Tennis Championship in 1992. She also won a bronze medal with her teammates in 1996 National Table Tennis Championship of Singapore. She received a prestigious award of table tennis master of China.

 

       Peng Ying is currently Head Coach of Everbright Table Tennis Club in New Jersey. .
